Food and wine interests me most. After receiveing my BA from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA, Richard Avedon in New York City hired me. I then was hired by Irving Penn, about 60 NYC street blocks away. Through this I learned how to incorporate different perspectives, approaches, and attitudes. Listening and being empathetic towards folks is art in itself. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . When I opened my own business, I endeavored to proceed with heart and intuition. I love food and wine and listening to the wonderful stories that people have to share. I am fortunate to live in the beautiful Wine Country of California, surrounded by exceptional people with amazing talent. Each varietal / experience is unique and I always do my best to make my photography be representative of my client’s tastes, needs, and wants. An image that shows is one thing.
