Bio

Food and wine interests me most. After receiveing my BA from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA, Richard Avedon in New York City hired me to join his studio. Following years there, I went on and was hired by Irving Penn about 60 street blocks away. They were so close in age, industry, and had many of the same clients even, though I was taught how having completely different perspectives, approaches, and attitudes truly works. Listening to perspectives which I have learned to do, and being empathetic towards folks is art in itself. Annie Leibovitz and Patrick Demarchelier were a couple other names, to name a few who hired me and put me to work on their sets. With all of that said, my learned past is there, yet I follow my heart and my own intuition. Each varietal / experience in food / wine is unique and I always do my best to make it be representative of my clients and flow smoothly.  An image that shows is one thing.  An image that shows and tells, is another.  I am curious of your story!
